Toof Noir (From mymilktoof.blogspot.com)

As from what I understand about Film Noir being all detective, killing, betrayal and all, here is a story I extracted from the internet depicting Film Noir, but in a cute and fun way.

"We're on it."

MMT_Toof Noir 5F

"Don't worry Ma'am- We're professionals.
We'll find that sock, guaranteed."

MMT_Toof Noir 6F

"First we need to search for clues..."

MMT_Toof Noir 7F

"Hello clues, are you in here?

MMT_Toof Noir 8F

"Is that a clue?"

MMT_Toof Noir 9F

"These are clues we eat."

MMT_Toof Noir 10F

"Time to do some dirty work..."

MMT_Toof Noir 11F

"What do you see, Lardee?"

MMT_Toof Noir 12F

"A-ha! Money!"

MMT_Toof Noir 13F

"Bag up the evidence. This case is deeper than I expected."

MMT_Toof Noir 14F

MMT_Toof Noir 15F

"Sorry to pop in unannounced Carrot..."

MMT_Toof Noir 16F

"Have you seen this sock?"

MMT_Toof Noir 17F

"Not talking, eh?"

MMT_Toof Noir 18F

"What if we give you this?"

MMT_Toof Noir 20F

MMT_Toof Noir 21F

"How 'bout now?"

MMT_Toof Noir_22

"Carrot is not very helpful."

MMT_Toof Noir_23F

"Freshly folded laundry - our last option."

MMT_Toof Noir_24F

"No dice."

MMT_Toof Noir_25F

"This is bad, Lardee. If we don't solve this case,
we're gonna lose all our street cred. What do we do?"

MMT_Toof Noir_26F

MMT_Toof Noir_27F

"Nobody will know the difference."

MMT_Toof Noir_28F

"Uh.... Guess what!
I think we found your..."

MMT_Toof Noir_29F

Oh hey guys, I was just going to tell you-
I found my other sock in the bathroom!

Thanks for looking!

MMT_Toof Noir_30F

"Quick Lardee, destroy the evidence."

MMT_Toof Noir_31F

"Another case solved!"

Understanding : Film Noir

“Between the Great Depression and the start of the
Cold War, Hollywood went noir, reflecting the worldly, weary, wised-up under
current of midcentury America. In classics such as Laura, Sweet Smell of
Success, and Double Indemnity, where the shadows of L.A. and New York pulse with
killers, corpses, and perilous romance, failure is not only a logical option but
a smart-talking seduction.” – Vanity Fair March 2007
Principally in film noir, it is the narrative and existential angst that drives a mostly male protagonist, who more often than not is the victim of a manipulative femme-fatale.
“Noir is premised on the audience’s need to see failure risked, courted, and sometimes won; the American dream becomes a nightmare, one strangely more seductive and euphoric than the optimism it repudiates… Noir provided losing with a mystique.”
